Brassknocker by McArthur Ridge is their Village level Pinot Noir, the name is inspired from the unique Brassknocker soils which the McArthur Ridge vineyard are planted in, sited on expansive ancient glacial moraine terraces in Alexandra, Central Otago. Beautiful floral notes, aromatic and complex, showing ripe cherry, oak spice, and mocha notes on the nose. The palate is succulent with rich red berry notes, violets, oregano herbal nuances and fine tannins. The wine is supported by fine acidity and finishes with a long and balanced persistency.

Ruby red in colour, this wine has a bouquet of savoury red berry fruit, black cherry and vanilla that combine with aromas of black forest berries, cloves and dark violets, finishing with soft stony notes. Dry on the palate with a core of fruit, savoury tannins give it a great texture. The oak influence is obvious with baking spices, brown sugar and smokiness. Expect this wine to improve further with careful cellaring over the next 7-10 years.

This Shiraz is a rich and spicy, full-bodied wine that fills the mouth with blackberries and pepper. Enjoy with roast beef or the Australian classic, a BBQ.

This Estate Late Harvest is very aromatic and fresh, reflecting the great vineyard site, good viticulture and gentle handling of the fruit. It has aromas of lemon and lime citrus with mineral elements and stone fruit on the finish.

The aromas are complex and sweet, showing toasty stonefruit aromas with hints of tropical fruit and flinty notes. The palate is rich with a fine structure and up-front fruit and a long finish. The wine is textural and rich in style with a fine finish showing great persistence and freshness.

The Gaia Project wines reflect Mission Estate's sustainability journey so far. Sourced from some of the best Hawke's Bay vineyards, this delicious Chardonnay is expressive and vibrant. Soft and generous with excellent structure; fresh citrus notes are beautifully balanced with ripe peach, apricot and finely integrated toasty notes.

The Gaia Project wines reflect Mission Estate's sustainability journey so far. Sourced from some of the best Hawke's Bay vineyards in the Gimblett Gravels (82%) and Bridge Pa Triangle (18%), with the Gimblett Gravels portion organically grown. This delicious Merlot is expressive and vibrant. Soft and rich with excellent structure; generous blackberry and currant notes are beautifully balanced with spicy components imparted from the barrel-aging.

This Chardonnay is full-bodied, bright and lively yellow stonefruit flavours are entwined with nutty oak, toasty elements and minerally suggestions. The mouthfeel is lush, with subtly creamy barrel-ferment richness providing good presence. The wine follows a fine phenolic, textural thread, with some underlying alcohol drive, leading to a sustained, lively finish with stonefruit and nutty nuances and some oxidative interest.
