Land that was once a high country sheep station is now a flourishing vineyard. Sheep and rabbits co-existed on the land for quite some time but the sheep couldn't keep up with the nocturnal activity of the rabbits, and in the end were driven off the land. Rabbits now run free on the vineyard and fuelled by high altitude Pinot Noir, some are reputed to be the size of ponies, but that's another story... The Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir is made in a very soft, fruit forward, low tannin style - a wine to be savoured and supped, rather than an assault on the senses.

On the palate, there fruity sensations of red fruits, plums and peaches, coupled with a characteristic acidity.

The Red Knot Shiraz is vibrant and highly aromatic, displaying ripe berry flavours subtly framed with American and French oak.

Rockburn's 'hands-off' approach delivers a pure expression of Central Otago to your glass; an expressive nose and deeply fruited palate displaying vibrant notes of red and black cherry, rich mocha and supple, silky tannins leading into a very long finish. The 2022 Twelve Barrels Gibbston Vineyard Pinot Noir is a single vineyard wine displaying the elegance, power and grace generated by Rockburn's Gibbston Back Road Vineyard site. Dark and concentrated, the Twelve Barrels displays notes of bramble fruit, truffle and cedar char, with lifted florals. With a fine balance of firm tannin, concentrated texture and bright fruit, this wine truly represents the Gibbston sub-region and its complex nature.

RUA Pinot Noir has a rich and generous palate, with black cherry, raspberry and plum notes supported by vanilla and classic Central Otago dried herbs. A subtle spiciness adds to the complexity. The silky tannins are well integrated in this fresh and vibrant Central Otago Pinot Noir.

The wine is black/purple in colour, the nose displays subtle vanilla/cedar oak, mulberry, chocolate, spice and Satsuma Plum. This powerful Shiraz shows distinctive regional characters of dark chocolate, black prunes, pepper, licorice and spicy cedary oak on the palate, with ripe loganberry fruit and oak perfectly integrated.

Select parcels of Pinot Noir from around New Zealand went into this wonderfully fruit-driven wine, bursting with dark cherry and wild lavender aromas, with notes of red liquorice and clove and a smooth finish.

With a touch of floral lift and dark fruits there is a secondary layer of wet slate , dark wine gums and nutmeg. It has great flow from the start with a dense fruit core and a long finish. It's honed and polished with great complexity.
